Privacy Policy

This notice explains how It's Good to Think, a playable story, Arcade and community project, uses information. The public website is https://itsgoodtothink.com.

Information we use

Why we use information

To provide account access, save your story and gameplay progress, support community participation you elect to make public, secure the site and diagnose issues.

Private and public Thoughts

The first answer starts private. When you choose to share a Thought or interact publicly, other players may see that content in the Codex or community games. Content shared publicly may be copied by others. Please avoid posting anything you would not want others to read.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics is optional. Its tracking script is not loaded unless you select Allow analytics. Rejecting it does not stop you from using the site. Your choice is remembered in local browser storage; you can change it at any time.

Providers and international processing

The project uses Supabase to provide accounts and stored progress, hosting infrastructure to deliver pages, and Google Analytics if enabled. Providers may process information in different countries. See Supabase's privacy notice and Google's privacy policy.

Retention and requests

We retain records as needed for the service, account operation, security and applicable obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, withdraw analytics consent or exercise other rights that apply where you live. Verification and legal exceptions may apply.

For a private data request, contact the project team through the official Discord community and ask a moderator how to reach the operator privately. Do not post sensitive account information in a public channel.

Security and younger users

We use platform sign-in and access-control features but cannot guarantee absolute security. Minors should use the service only where permitted by applicable law and with appropriate guardian involvement.

Changes

We may update this notice as features change. The updated date above reflects the revision. This notice is an explanation of data handling, not a claim of legal certification.
